      THE WORLD CUP FOOTBALL is a very magnificent competition among all the football playing countries of the world.It takes place every four years .Football is the most popular game among all the games and sports .The world cup football began in 1930 .The proposal of the world cup was accepted in the council   of federation of international football  association (FIFA) in 1926.The first final match of world cup took place in south afreca  MONTEVIDEO Stadium on 1930.The last world cup football took  place in south afreca in 2010.

                                          GROUP DIVISION
The participant countries were divided into eight group namely ;A,B,C,D,E,F,G,H FOUR COUNTRIES play in each group.The millions of spectators  of the world are  pleased and amused by the semi-final and final of the world Cup Football.
The semi-final took place between Netherlands and Uruguay ; and Germany versus Spain t this year. The final took place between Spain and Netherlands SPAIN won the WORLD Cup Trophy .As a result Spain was overwhelmed with joy.On the other hand , Netherlands  became overwhelmed with grief.The joy of spin and the sorrow  of Netherlands cannot be described in words.It can be better felt than described. 

                              2010  Fifa World CUP 
The 2010 FIF World Cup was the  19th FIFA  World Cup., the world championship for men's  national association football teams.It took place in South afreca from 11 June to 11 July 2010. The bidding process for hosting the tournament  finals was open only to afrecan nations;in 2004,the international football federation ,fifa selected south afreca over Egypt and Morocco to become the first afrecan nation to host the finals..

The matches were played in ten stadiums in nine cities around the country ,with the final played at the Soccer city stadium in south afreca s largest city,Johannesburg .Thirty-two teams were selected for participation via worldwide   qualification tournament that began in august 2007.In the first round of the tournament  finals ,the teams  competed in round-robin groups og four teams for points,with the top two teams in each group proceeding.These sixteen teams advanced to the knockout stage,where three rounds of play decided which teams would participate in the final.
In the final , Spain ,the European champions,defeated third time finalist the Netherlands 1-0 after extra time with Andress iniestas goal in the 116th minute giving Spain their first world title,the first time that European nations has won the tournament outside its home continent.Host nation South africa ,2006 world champions Italy and 2006 runners up France were eliminated in the first round of the tournament.

                 The WORLD CUP Football is agreat source of entertainment and amusement.It is supposed to cement the relationship between different nations of the world .It bridges the gap between the different countries .The people odf enjoy world Cup Football very much.There is no denying the fact that the world cup football 2010 encouraged many news teams to play good matches.Indeed, it is a game of unity and fraternity.
