World CUP Cricket

Cricket is the national game of the English.Now cricket travels down to a good number of countries.A cricket match is played between two teams .Each team consists of eleven members.A match is sometimes played the whole day and .even day and night.The umpires signal marks the beginning  of the play and the bowler starts bowling. After every six balls the  bowlers  over  ends.The batsman may be out in many ways ,such as bowled out,run out,caught out,leg before wicket out,and hit wicket out.


                                   Arrangements of holding World Cup Competitions

At present 122 countries are playing  cricket,35 countries are the members oICC,of them 10 countries are the full-pledged members  where test match are held.World cup cricket competitions is held in between the countries.the last eighth world cup tournament was held in south africa ,Zimbabwe, and kenya ad teh champion and runners up countries were australia and pakistan respectively.The world cup cricket competition are generally held with grandeur , color  spirit and enthusiasm.

            Cricket is royal game ,Cricket teaches manliness ,obedience, patience ,perseverance and co-operation.But fairness is the very essence of this game .The players of  Pakistan, India, England, Australasia,south Africa,west indies,srilanka, Zimbabwe, Bangladesh etc have great potentialities  in the field of cricket and one day all players may earn name and fame in world cup cricket.

CRICKET

Cricket is an outdoor game.It is an interesting game.It is the national games of the british.A cricket mach is played between two teams.Each team consists of eleven players.A cricket field must be spacious.It must have a turf.Two wooden bats,a ball and two sets of stumps are also required.Generally,the duration of a cricket match is 100overs with tea break.Two umpires conduct the games .Sometimes ,third umpire is required to solve a cute confusion.Each over consists of six balls.Before  the beginning of the game, a toss is occurred to select 'fielding group' and 'batting group'.The batsman tries to make a good  score by saving himself,The batsman may be out in many ways such as 'bowled out',run out,stumped out, caught out,lbw out,etc.Availing the opportunity the batsman  hits the ball away at a good distance and runs to the opposite wicket.The batsman of the other wicket runs to his place.Thus one run is scored.If the ball crosses the boundary line,four runs are made.If the ball flies over the boundary ,six runs are scored.If any batsman is out,next batsman comes to his place.After interval,the  'fielding group' comes to bat and batting party goes to field.Both teams try heart and soul to out all batsman of opposite team.The team which can score more runs,wins the game.A cricket match teaches us patience,steadiness,co-operation.obedience,promptness and lesson of team-work.

The Importantce of Games and Sports 2

sports have a great significance in our individual as well as our collective life.It builds our body and gives us more energy in work.It gives us skill,dicipline,sense of co-operation and taem-sprit.some games call fort courage and presence of mind.Sports and games are joyful activities too.A true sportsman is frank,generousand free from petty spite.These are sportsman like qualities.

                                              Games should be compulsory for  a boy and girl

There  is no doubt that many outdoor games.such a football,hocckey and cricket are very good for growing boys.They provide physical exercise,so necessary for health,in an interesting from.Moreover ,such games,by training boys to work together in a team ,teach corporate discipline and so promote what is called esprit de corps.Games from a valuable part of school and colleage education.They help in the moral training of boys and girl.they teach certain necessary moral lessons,and in a way boy and girl can understand,that the playing of games promotes co-operation,sense of fair-play,sporting spirit,obedience to rules, slf control,pluck and sacrifice of self for the good of the whole.


The proverb says ,"ALL WORK AND NO PLAY MAKES JACK A DULL BOY" The sports can refresh and supply fresh vigour to our body and mind .A Latin proverb,"Mens sana  in corporesano,"that is, a sound mind  exists in a sound body
